Awaken O' Sleeper Coconut-Apricot Wax Candle

The Story Behind the "Awaken O’ Sleeper" Candle

Featured scent notes: Espresso · Hazelnut

Every sunrise is a reminder that God’s mercies are new. No matter yesterday’s burdens, each day is an invitation to rise with renewed hope, renewed purpose, and renewed faith.

Deep, aromatic, and unmistakably awakening, Awaken O’ Sleeper opens with the bold, freshly brewed character of espresso, softened by the warm, roasted richness of hazelnut. The result is a full-bodied fragrance reminiscent of that first pour of espresso—rich, comforting, and made to stir the senses.

Awaken O’ Sleeper is created from a proprietary fragrance blend, custom formulated by Scented Joy. To preserve the uniqueness of our creations, only select featured scent notes are disclosed.

“Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
— Ephesians 5:14

Awaken O’ Sleeper is inspired by the call found in Ephesians 5:14—a gentle invitation to wake from spiritual weariness and walk in the light of Christ.

“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” — Ephesians 5:14

Perfect for late-night Bible study, students doing homework, or simply craving the intoxicating aroma of your favorite coffee shop.

A Personal Note from Joy

After spending 19 years with Starbucks as a Store Manager and certified Coffee Master, this one is near and dear to my heart. I knew this fragrance had to smell like the real deal! My goal was to recreate the rich aroma of a freshly pulled espresso shot, then I carefully crafted this custom blend until it captured that familiar coffeehouse experience. I hope you enjoy lighting it as much as I enjoyed blending it!
